Golf Instruction

I have been a member of the PGA of America for 25+ years. My entire career has been in Tennessee, where I started as an Assistant Golf Professional at Link Hills Country Club in East Tennessee. I then moved to The Bear Trace at Ross Creek in Clifton, TN, where we were the #1 Public Golf Course in Tennessee by Golf Digest Magazine. Most locals know me as the Head Golf Professional at Graymere Country Club, where I was for 14 years. I am currently the owner of KH Golf (Killer Hook Golf) where I give lessons, and do club regripping and reshafting, along with other miscellaneous tasks to make you and your game better.

I have been teaching from the start and specialize in beginners to properly introduce them to the game of golf. My focus is to start with the proper grip, stance, and basic swing to get you enjoying and hitting the ball better. I use techniques that make things simple along with aids that will you to get a true feel on what the club should be doing. I can do individual lessons along with group lessons and clinics. One of the highlights of my career is growing the game with a junior program that started with just a few kids to well over 60 participants. I enjoy teaching all types of players, from young to old and beginner to scratch golfers.
